Jack Melito
Vice President, Corporate Affairs
As Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Melito is responsible for business development and directing the proposal management process in conjunction
with the implementation of CRM and business transformation applications on behalf of MELE and its teaming partners. Corporate marketing strategies are also developed by the Corporate Affairs team.
Mr. Melito has more than 20 years of experience in diverse professional environments with a common theme: developing management and communications strategies for organizational change. His career spans management reform, legislative affairs, communications strategy, facilitation, media relations, and nonprofit management. Mr. Melito possesses an up-close view of the dynamics of organizations in state and federal government, academia, and 501(c)3.
Prior experience includes: Legislative Affairs Director, New York State Department of Tax & Finance; Senior Staff to then-Governor of New York State, Mario M. Cuomo; Senior Staff to the Cabinet Secretary for Housing & Urban Development; Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region of New York State; and Director of Media Relations for Bennington College. Mr. Melito holds a Masters Degree in Applied Philosophy and wrote his thesis on the impact of information flow on policy making. As an adjunct professor, he has taught Ethics in the Workplace, Logic, and Introduction to Philosophy.
